Welcome to the home of the Woods Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organization!
The Woods Creek PTO is a volunteer-based non-profit organization committed to supporting the school community.
The PTO organizes events throughout the year, like classroom parties, speakers and assemblies, book fairs, celebrations, and fundraisers, to bring together families, faculty, and staff in a fun and engaging way.
Teacher appreciation week is coming May 4th - May 8th. Let's make our Woods Creek teachers and staffs' week extra special! Below are some optional, daily activities your student can participate in throughout the week to show our teachers they are...
Need an idea for something unique for your teacher? Take a look at our teacher's favorite things lists!
Monday 5/4
Ask your Teacher how you can help in the classroom this week.
Look for chalk at recess to leave a note of appreciation for your teacher.
Tuesday 5/5
Bring in the completed
worksheet of all the reasons your teacher is "Simply the Zest!"
Wednesday 5/6
Wear yellow or your favorite bright color to brighten your teacher's classroom today.
Thursday 5/7
Color one (or both!) of the coloring sheets sent home for your teacher or an encore teacher to show them how much you care.
Friday 5/8
Make something from the heart like a card or a picture, to share with your teacher all you appreciate about them. Maybe you can share a special memory from your year with them!
